The Coolest

That's Kevin with the sun glasses. He was one of my first coworkers, at least of my design career. Every Friday Kevin would yell "Hit Bob" to his sidekick, programmer, and Bob would blast some guitar heavy song. There would be rubber band wars and celebration. He taught me Flash. He was in D.C. when D.C. was the music scene. He took me to my first Indian restaurant. It was vegetarian. He turned 30 riding a camel, high on opiates. There was photos of him diving off giant cliffs and posing for head shots. What? Wild man. The kindest kind of wild, though.

Desire

Sometimes I go through phases where I want everything at once.
Clothes, new apartment, to be fluent in Spanish, nice handbag, more focusing power, furniture, new glasses, to have a more meaningful job, travel, shoes...I am in one of those phases now.
